摘要
目的研究E74-like factor 5 (ELF5)在乳腺癌的表达,探讨ELF5的表达与不同分型乳腺癌预后的关系。方法利用Oncomine数据库挖掘ELF5在乳腺癌组织中的表达;利用Kaplan-Meier Plotter分析ELF5表达水平与雌激素受体阳性/阴性表达乳腺癌生存的关系。结果 Oncomine数据库分析ELF5在乳腺癌中表达降低(P=8.29e^(-10));KM plotter数据库分析结果显示ELF5表达量与雌激素受体阳性表达的乳腺癌无复发生存(RFS)呈正相关,即高表达ELF5的患者无复发生存较高(P=0.008)。结论 ELF5在乳腺癌组织中表达低于癌旁正常组织,其表达水平越高预后越好。
Objective To investigate the expression of E74-like factor 5(ELF5) in breast cancer and explore the relationship between the expression of ELF5 and prognosis of different breast cancers types. Methods The expression of ELF5 in breast cancer tissues was detected using Oncomine database. The relationship between the expression of ELF5 and survival of estrogen receptor positive/negative breast cancer was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier Plotter. Results Oncomine database analysis showed that the expression level of ELF5 was decreased in breast cancer with a statistically significant(P=8.29e-10). KM plotter database analysis showed that there was a positive correlation for ELF5 expression with estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer recurrence-free survival(RFS), indicating that patients with high expression of ELF5 had a higher recurrence-free survival(P=0.008). Conclusion The higher the expression level of ELF5, the better the prognosis in breast cancer.
