摘要
西方学界对何为当代资本主义统治形态的探讨主要集中于以下两种形态的争论上:新帝国主义和帝国。新帝国主义仍然是一种帝国主义,它基于民族国家主权的维护作用,强调了一种以垄断资本主义为基础的资本的帝国主义,表现为资本逻辑与民族国家主权的合谋。帝国超越了帝国主义,表达了一种空间开放的主权特性,把全球秩序视作资本统治原则的内在化,并用这种资本的统治原则完全替代了民族国家的主权。新帝国主义囿于民族国家的界限而无法阐释资本统治的全球性体系,帝国只关注资本的统治原则而忽略了民族国家主权的保障作用。资本的统治原则与民族国家的主权之间是一种不在场的关联形式,它们共同表征了一种基于帝国主义的帝国式的主权形态。
The discussion on what is the domination form of contemporary capitalism in western academic circles mainly focuses on the following two forms of arguments, the neo-imperialism and the empire. The new imperialism is still a kind of imperialism, which emphasizes a kind of capitalist imperialism on the basis of monopoly capitalism from the perspective of the maintenance of the nation-state’s sovereignty, which is manifested as the collusion between the logic of capital and the nation-state’s sovereignty. The empire surpasses the imperialism, expresses a kind of sovereignty characteristic of open space, and regards the global order as the internalization of the domination principle of capital that completely replaces the sovereignty of nation-states.Because of the limitation of nation-states, the new imperialism cannot explain the global system of capital rule. Empire only pays attention to the domination principle of capital but ignores the security role of the sovereignty of nation-states. The relationship between the ruling principle of capital and the sovereignty of nationstates is an absent form of association, which jointly represents an imperial-style sovereignty based on imperi?alism.
