Reinterpreting Ha Jin’s Children as Enemies from the perspective of Humanistic Geography, the researchers will find that a failure in reconstruction of the man-land relationship, which has been completely destructed in the crossborder movement,is the fundamental cause of the conflicts and divergences between the family members in new Chinese immigrants’family.First of all,it’s difficult to transform or transplant the immigrants’former living experience in the U.S.Secondly,the ubiquitous boundaries in the real life hinder the formation of the effective links between those immigrants and the Flushing. Therefore, through the generation gap,the researchers can predict that the immigrants from the China's Mainland who are out of place in the U.S.can hardly find the existential space to maintain their identity.
