大学生大五人格特征与英语学习之间的关系研究 被引量:1

摘要 目的探究大学生大五人格特征与英语学习好奇心、英语等级考试之间的关系。方法采用大五人格简化量表对127名大学生进行调查。结果在对英语学习有好奇心的样本中,大五人格对其产生的影响依次为:神经质17.76>开放性16.98>外向性16.76>责任性16.25>亲和性15.16;在通过英语四级及以上考试的样本中,大五人格对其产生的影响依次为:神经质17.92>开放性16.97>外向性16.73>责任性16.19>亲和性15.04;好奇心与英语等级考试的关系χ2=0.264,P=0.608,好奇心对英语等级考试结果无显著性影响。结论大学生大五人格对英语学习好奇心会产生不同的影响,同时也影响着英语等级水平考试的通过率;建议在教与学中注重不同人格特征的差异影响。 Objective:To explore the correlation among college students'Five-factor model personality characteristics,English curiosity and English grade test.Methods A survey was conducted among 127 college students using the simplified five personality scale.Results:Among the students who have curiosity in English learning,the extent of the influence that the Big Five Personality has an curiosity is as follows:neuroticism 17.76>openness 16.98>extroversion 16.76>responsibility 16.25>affinity 15.16;In the samples that students have past College English Test 4 and above,the influence that Big Five Personality is as follows:neuroticism 17.92>openness 16.97>extroversion 16.73>responsibility 16.19>affinity 15.04;the correlation between curiosity and English level testχ^2=0.264,P=0.608,and curiosity has no significant effect on the results of the English proficiency test.Conclusion:The Big Five Personality of college students has different influence on the curiosity of English learning,and it also affects the level of English proficiency.At the same time,it also affects the passing rate of the English proficiency test.It is suggested that the difference among different personality characteristics should be emphasized in teaching and learning.
