摘要
新闻报道的主要功能是传达信息、影响读者对事件的看法,在保持客观的同时,也要表明自身对事件的态度和立场。文章借助AntConc语料库检索软件,采用定量分析和定性分析相结合的方法对比分析中英两国关于美英法对叙利亚发动空袭的13篇新闻报道中形容词使用的文体特征,分析中国和西方国家对此事件的不同态度,有助于读者了解新闻用词对大众态度和舆论导向的影响方式。
The main function of news reports is to convey information and influence readers’views on events.While maintaining objectivity,they also need to indicate their attitudes and positions.On the basis of quantitative and qualitative analysis,the stylistic features of adjectives used in the Chinese and British 13 news reports,which concern the missile strikes on Syria launched by the United States,Britain and France,are analyzed.Antconc,a text retrieval software,is adopted to find the unique features of these news report,which could show different attitudes of Chinese and Western countries toward this event,as well as helping readers learn the way that how news words affect public attitudes and guide public opinions.
