摘要
拉胀超材料(即具有负泊松比效应的材料)具有很多独特的优良性能.等效力学性能是设计拉胀超材料的重要指标,同时也是建立相应本构模型的基础.目前对拉胀超材料的等效力学性能研究大都局限在弹性小变形框架下,而在实际应用中,拉胀超材料通常会产生弹塑性大变形.为此,采用了基于周期性边界条件的数值均匀化方法,对一种经典的四节点手性拉胀超材料在弹塑性大变形下的等效力学性能开展了系统的研究.结果表明,四节点手性拉胀超材料的等效力学性能随着变形的增加而产生规律性的变化.
Materials performing a negative Poisson's ratio(auxetics)have many unique advanced properties.Equivalent mechanical property serves as the most important indicator for the design of the auxetic metamaterial as well as the basis for the construction of corresponding constitutive modeling.However,the current study of the equivalent mechanical property of auxetic metamaterial is restricted in an elastic regime with small deformations.However,in actual application,the auxetic metamaterial may swell and deform.Therefore,the effective mechanical properties of classical auxetic material,i.e.,tetrachiral metamaterial,in large elasto-plastic deformation are investigated systematically by using numerical homogenization with periodic boundary conditions.The results show that such effective mechanical properties of the auxetic tetrachiral chirality metamaterial change regularly with the increase of the deformation.
