摘要
基于功能翻译理论,建立两个《唐诗三百首》的小型语料库,通过语料库分析软件分析两个译本在词汇和句式上的差异,得出以下结论:许版词汇量大于宾版,而且词汇难度也大于宾版,用词更加正式;宾版在阅读上更加具有易读性,并且适合西方人阅读习惯。许版译本在翻译上更贴近唐诗意境和音律要求,形式上也更加整齐。宾版在诗歌句式方面,多采用长句和解释性词汇,对于阅读难度降低很多,但是句式结构复杂,缺乏唐诗韵律。
Based on the functional theory of translation,two small corpuses of Tang Shi San Bai Shou are set up to analyze the differences between two translation versions in terms of lexical level and syntactic level.Results show that Xu’s version high percentage of STTR and high percentage of long and complex words,which makes the translation more formal.On the contrary,Bynner’s version is comparatively readable and suitable for westerners.Xu’s version focuses more on the connotation and tonality,and thus its alignment is more obvious.Bynner’s version is long,grammatically complete,and thus complicated.
