《高级英语》教材延喻模因研究及其对教学的启示

摘要 语言模因论基于新达尔文进化论对语言发展和传播规律进行解释。延喻是比喻的一种形式,它首先是一个中心比喻,然后用不同的表达形式对中心比喻进行拓展或者延伸。从模因论的角度来看,中心比喻是延喻的基础模因,拓展表达是派生模因,二者形成模因复合体。对《高级英语》教材中的延喻修辞进行模因分析,可知延喻模因复合体的表达力比句中的基础模因更强,语言表达形式更生动,语义得以层层推进。探讨《高级英语》课文中的延喻修辞可以有效培养学生的修辞赏析和运用能力,促进《高级英语》教学和研究的深化。 Language memetics interprets language development and spreading principle with Neo-Darwinism,and provides a new theoretical perspective for studying the teaching of rhetorical devices in Advanced English.The extended metaphor is a way of comparison,which first makes an initial comparison and then is developed or extended by different expressions.Memetically speaking,the initial comparison is the basic meme,and the extended expressions are derivative memes,which are combined into the meme complex.The research on such meme complexes in the texts can reveal that,compared with the basic meme,the meme complex expresses more forcefully and vividly,and develops the semantic meaning gradually.Therefore,this memetic study in the texts can effectively cultivate the ability of students rhetoric appreciating and ability to use rhetoric,and profoundly promote the rhetoric teaching in Advanced English.
