摘要 乙二胺四乙酸(EDTA)是一种强脱钙剂,在临床治疗中常被口腔医师广泛用作根管润滑剂和消毒剂。在根管治疗中,细菌侵入并定植于牙本质小管是导致根管治疗失败的重要原因之一,EDTA能够使牙本质脱矿、牙本质小管开放,从而使隐藏于牙本质小管的细菌游离出来而被清除。然而由于EDTA暴露牙本质胶原,也为细菌的黏附提供了便捷,使细菌的黏附力和黏附量增加。另外,EDTA虽然能够软化管壁牙本质,在根管预备中得到良好应用,但EDTA的浓度过高或作用时间过长也会导致根管壁的腐蚀。因此,EDTA的合理使用有助于避免其弊端,发挥最大效能。 Ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid(EDTA)is a strong calcium remover.It is widely used in clinical treatment as root canal lubricant and disinfectant.During root canal therapy,the invasion and colonization of bacteria in dentinal tubules is one of the important reasons for the failure of the therapy.EDTA can deminerate dentine and open the dentinal tubule,thereby removing the bacteria that are hidden in the dentinal tubules.However,because EDTA exposes dentin collagen,it also provides convenience for bacterial adhesion and increases the adhesion ability and quantity of bacteria.In addition,although EDTA can be used in root canal preparation because of its ability to soften dentin,excessive concentration of EDTA or too long action will cause corrosion of the root canal wall.Therefore,the rational use of EDTA could help to avoid its drawbacks and maximize its efficiency.
