摘要
本研究基于性别和学科,随机选取了东北某高校的170名大一学生,对他们的批判性思维倾向进行了问卷调查,结果发现,中国大学生的批判性思维倾向总体上趋于中等,与西方大学生存在一定差距。女生的批判性思维能力相比以往有了很大的改观甚至超过了男生。与理工类学生相比,无论是总分,还是子纬度得分,外语类的学生均占优。然而,无论是男生还是女生,理工类还是外语类,中国大学生在"自信心"、"分析能力"、"求知欲"等子维度的气质均需大力加强。
Based on gender and discipline,this study randomly selected 170 freshmen students from a university in the northeastern China and administered a questionnaire survey on their critical thinking disposition inventory.The results found that Chinese university students’critical thinking disposition inventory tend to be moderate on the whole,lagging behind the western university students.The girl students’ability of critical thinking has improved a lot,even better than the boys.Compared with the science majors,the foreign language majors perform better in terms of the total score and the subcategory scores.However,despite males or females,science majors or foreign language majors,Chinese university students should strengthen such critical thinking dispositions as self?confidence,analyticity and inquisitiveness.
