摘要 5G的超低时延和超大容量的需求,催生了MEC技术并不断发展。随着互联网、移动互联网、物联网的发展,MEC逐渐成为5G技术发展的趋势,网络的发展进入MEC时代。MEC时代来临后,对视频CDN提出了很多关键需求,包括视频CDN与MEC网管解耦、视频CDN虚拟化NFV、小型化、高性能、漫游访问等方面的需求,以满足MEC场景下的视频CDN的发展需要。同时,MEC带来了视频CDN下的新业务场景,包括赛事直播、场馆直播、景区AR和视频CDN下沉等典型的应用。 The requirement of ultra-low latency and large capacity of5G technology,brings about the origin and continuous development of MEC technology.With the development of the Internet,mobile internet and Internet of things,MEC gradually becomes the trend of5G technology.The Internet comes into MEC era.MEC era puts forward a lot of key requirements on video CDN,including video CDN and MEC O&M decoupling,video CDN virtualization NFV,miniaturization,high performance,and roaming access requirements and so on,in order to meet the development requirement of video CDN in MEC scenario.At the same time,MEC brings about new service scenarios in video CDN,including live sporting events,live venues,scenic AR,video CDN deploy to edge,and many other typical applications.
