摘要
计划生育标语是颇具中国特色的话语形式,其历史形成源于我国的具体国情,其变化与我国社会发展息息相关。批评话语分析历来关注大众语篇和官方话语等领域的研究。本文以批评话语分析和Fairclough的"三维话语分析模式"为理论框架,通过分析不同历史时期的计划生育标语来揭示隐含其中的权力关系和意识形态变化。研究表明:(1)标语是一种机构性话语,参与者双方的话语地位是不平等的,标语的发布者代表机构成为话语权力的主宰者;(2)计生标语的话语行为是一种自上而下的单向传递行为;(3)计生标语折射出我国的历史变迁和社会发展,从"强制命令型"到"平等协商型"再到"科学务实型"的标语内涵演变可以追溯我国四十年来的发展轨迹;(4)计生标语表达方式的变化不改变既有的话语权势关系,但反映出标语发布者从崇尚暴力到凸显以人为本、和谐发展的意识转变,这一转变是社会不断进步的结果。
The family planning slogan is a discourse form peculiar to China.Its appearance is attributed to the particular national conditions of our country,and meanwhile its evolution is closely interrelated with the country’s social development.As an approach to discourse analysis,Critical Discourse Analysis(CDA)has focused on the researches concerning public and official discourses.Based on CDA approach and Fairclough’s“Three Dimensional Framework”,this paper attempts to analyse the family planning slogans at different historical stages so as to disclosepower relations and ideological change concealed in the slogans.Our research shows that(1)the family planning slogan is a sort of institutional discourse.The participants involved in the discourse are unequal in discourse power with the slogans publisher as the dominator of discourse power,for it represents the institution in question;(2)the discourse behavior of family planning slogans is a top-down unidirectional communication;(3)the family planning slogan reflects China’s historical change and social development.According to the evolution of these slogans(from“compulsory command”to“equal consultation”to“scientific pragmaticism”),we can trace back to China’s development of the past four decades.(4)Although the different expressions of the family planning slogans do not fundamentally change the existing power relations,they have reflected the slogan publishers’ideological transformation from“advocating violence”to“highlighting the people-oriented,harmonious development”.This transformation results from the continuous progress of our society.
