摘要
大学排名已经成为一种全球现象,世界上已有30多个国家和地区开展了全球性或地区性的大学排名[1]。作为大学评价的重要手段之一,大学排名以其特有的方式诠释着大学的办学质量和水平,形象地将大学质量问题置于公众的视野之中,在一定程度上弥补了高等教育信息和社会需求之间严重不对称的缺陷,已经成为民众了解大学的一种重要途径[2]。
University ranking has become a global phenomenon,and the world has more than30countries and regions to carry out a global or regional university ranking.As one of the important means of university evaluation,university ranking interprets the quality and level of university education in its unique way,and vividly puts university quality into the public vision,thus making up for the serious asymmetry between higher education information and social needs to a certain extent.Therefore,it has become an important way for people to understand universities.
