摘要
任务型教学是交际语言教学理论在20世纪80年代发展出来的一种新的教学途径。它以完成具体任务的欲望为动力,以用语言做事为完成任务的过程,以展示任务成果来体现教学的成效。在我国中小学外语教学中,两个英语《课标》把任务型教学看作其实施的主要机制。但是任务型教学是在国外二语教学背景下形成的,要把它广泛地应用于我国缺乏目的语环境的外语教学,其实用性值得商酌。基于此,下文主要从理论和实践两方面来剖析任务型教学在我国中小学外语教学中的局限性。
Task,based Language Teaching(TBLT) is a new language teaching method developed from the theory of communicative language teaching in the 1980s,taking the learners' desire of accomplishing some specific tasks as the motivation of their further language learning,the process of doing things by using the language they have learned as that of their fulfilling the tasks and the positive results of the display of the tasks as the effect of language teaching,so TBLT is considered as the major mechanism of the implementation of the two English Curriculum Criterions.But as is known,TBLT took shape in the background of teaching English as the second language.An extensive application of TBLT to the English teaching in our country,therefore,still merits reconsideration because of the lack of the atmosphere and surroundings of the target language.This article is going to analyze the limitations of TBLT in our country form both the theoretic and practical perspective.
