"半A半B"、“半A不B"格式多数是熟语。“半A半B"表示相反、相对或相关的两种性质或状态同时存在。“半A不B"表示某种中间的性质或状态，多含有嫌弃和厌恶的意思。这两种格 式可以充当定语、状语、谓语等多种句子成分。
Most of the patterns of “半A半B” and “半A不B” are idi omatic phrases. Among them, “半A半B”express the coexistence of two types of p roperties which are contrary, opposite or interrelated .“半A不B” indicates a c ertain intermediate property or state. And it often contain dislike and detesta tion. The two patterns can serve as several kinds of sentence element, such as attri bute, adverbial and predicate.
