摘要
想象与学习中的创造性、情感、记忆有密切关系 ,想象参与学习过程有助于提高学习效果。在大学英语听力课程设计中 ,教师应充分利用想象的方法 ,优化英语听力课教学和学习资源 ,帮助学习者培养想象力 。
Based on the hunan psychology and other instructional theories, this paper mainly discusses the functions of “visualization”in the language learning,and aims at a discussion about the applications of “visualization”in the design for College English listeing teaching.The paper believes that mental images are strongly connected to the creaivity,memory and emotional side of life,and thus can help to achieve learner's engagement and greater assimilation of the language.It is proposed that teachers make full use of the tool of “visualization”to revolutionize teaching and learning in listening classroom.Some samples from College English Focus Listening illustrating guided imagery aciveties follow.
