摘要
英国华威大学翻译与比较文化研究中心是目前英国最大的翻译研究和教学基地,以培养学生的翻译研究能力为主要目标,多年来致力于培养翻译学硕士生和博士生,其学术实力和教学水平享誉世界。本文探讨该中心科研、教学模式,以期对我国翻译学科的建设有所裨益。
This is an introduction of Center for Translation and Comparative Cultural Studies of Warwick University. The Centre’s main goal is to train translation research ability, and the Centre is currently the largest research and teaching base of translation research in Britain and has obtained world-wide recognition. This study discusses the Centre's characteristics of academic research and teaching and suggests recommendations for the development of transition studies in China.
