New Left Review is an internationally known magazine.Although its chief editor and editors changed during the last decades,its tenet remains unchanged. By introducing Marxist documents into Britain,discussing important problems, training scholars and organizing scholarly activities,it exerts important influ- ence on the development of the post-war British Marxist literary theory.
