摘要
欧美汉学著述翻译成汉语的时候存在着"反向翻译"的情形,"反向翻译"以一种矛盾的方式说明了翻译如何与解释不能分割。中国文化通过翻译获得世界性意义,反向翻译说明中国文化具有跨文化性和世界性,经由翻译的中国经典已经成为西方文化的一部分,不再是中国文化本身。汉学译文与中国经典之间存在着意义的张力,为我们思考如何展开中国经典的现代阐释提供了启示。
There is reverse translation in translating western sinology works into Chinese. Reverse translation shows how translation cannot be separated from interpretation in a paradoxical way. The Chinese culture has gained worldwide significance through translation. Reverse translation shows that the Chinese culture is cross-cultural and cosmopolitan. The translated Chinese classics have been turned into part of the western culture in spite of their Chinese origin. There is a significant tension between the Chinese translation and the Chinese classics,which provides us with some thoughts on how to develop the modern interpretation of Chinese classics.
