摘要
教学改革的核心问题在于教师质量,而教师质量主要由教师的教学能力体现。以华南地区高职院校大学英语教师教学能力现状调查为切入点,结合文献研究与问卷调查,探索影响职业院校大学英语教师教学能力发展的因素。调查数据显示,教师对自身教学能力总体评价较高;教师教学能力发展受教育政策、自身知识结构和学生基础等因素的影响。在此基础上,提出推动教师教学能力全面发展的建议。
The core factor of teaching reform is teacher quality, which is mainly shown by their teaching abilities. Beginning with a survey on the current situation of teaching abilities of English teachers from higher vocational colleges, this study explores the factors which have impacted the development of teaching abilities by using a questionnaire and literature review. The results show that teachers surveyed have thought highly of their own teaching abilities and the teaching abilities have been influenced by the education policies, self-knowledge structure and the students English proficiency. Advice and suggestions are put forward on the basis of the study.
