原位碳热还原法制备Ti(C,N)基金属陶瓷的烧结技术研究 被引量:2

Research on Sintering Process of Ti(C,N)-based Cermets Prepared by In Situ Carbothermal Reduction Method

摘要 基于原位碳热还原法,通过真空液相烧结制备了Ti(C,N)基金属陶瓷。利用XRD、SEM、EDS等手段研究了不同烧结工艺参数对金属陶瓷显微组织和力学性能的影响。结果表明:基于原位碳热还原法制备出的Ti(C,N)基金属陶瓷,与常规方法制备的金属陶瓷相比,其显微组织中具有白芯-灰壳结构硬质相和没有明显包覆相的灰色硬质相的体积占比均明显增加,而具有黑芯-灰壳结构硬质相的体积占比明显减小;经1 400℃烧结,保温60 min,材料的组织均匀性较好,环形相厚度适中,且具有最佳的室温力学性能:抗弯强度为2 516 MPa,硬度为88.6 HRA,断裂韧性为18.4 MPa·m1/2。 Ti(C,N)-based cermets were prepared by in situ carbothermal reduction of TiO_2 and subsequent liquid phase sintering in one single process under vacuum. The effects of the sintering temperature and soaking time on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Ti(C,N)-based cermets were investigated by XRD, SEM and EDX. The results show that in contrast to traditional cermets, the volume ratio of white core/gray rim grains and gray hard phase without obvious rim phase in the present cermets prepared by the above-mentioned method are significantly higher, while the volume ratio of the hard phase with black core/gray rim is much less. The cermets sintered at 1 400 ℃ for 60 min shows homogeneous microstructures, moderate thickness of rim phase and the best mechanical properties with a transverse rupture strength of 2 516 MPa, a Rockwell hardness of 88.6 HRA, and a fracture toughness of 18.4 MPa·m-(1/2), respectively.
