摘要
本世纪中叶,我国计划建成世界教育中心和科学中心。改革开放以来,我国科学研究和高等教育的水平提高很快,由世界边缘开始进入中心。围绕我国在世界高等教育和世界科学体系中的地位、我国能否建成世界教育中心、我国学者对世界知识的贡献、我国建设世界教育中心的优势及劣势、国际化在世界教育中心建设中的作用等八个问题,我与高等教育中心-边缘学术理论提出者阿特巴赫教授进行了广泛的讨论。他的许多独到观点对我国未来世界教育中心建设深有裨益。
China plans to build a world education center and a world science center by the middle of this century. Since the reform and opening up, the level of China's scientific research and higher education has risen rapidly, starting from the periphery of the world into the center. Philip Altbach and I have had a wide range of talks about 10 issues such as the position of China in world higher education and scientific system, possibility of China to build a world education center, contribution of Chinese scholars to world knowledge, advantages and disadvantages of China in constructing a world education center and the role of internationalization. Many of his original ideas are very helpful to the construction of the world education center in the future.
