摘要
GIS专业英语对培养学生的专业英语技能以及自主学习能力尤为重要,但是在教学实践中往往被忽视,本文围绕GIS专业英语课程的教学目标,明晰课程定位和特点,剖析教学实践中所遇到的问题,结合自身的教学经验对教学内容、教学方法两方面提出了改进建议和措施。
The course ＂Professional English for GIS＂ is essential to cultivate students＇ professional English skills andautonomous learning ability,but it is often neglected during teaching practice.This paper focuses on the teachingobjectives of GIS professional English course,clarifies the orientation and characteristics of the course,and analyzes theproblems encountered in teaching practice.By combining with our own teaching experience on the angle of thecontent,teaching methods for this course,we have given some suggestions and measures for improvement in this paper.
