摘要
多维度分析法是一种语料库和计算机统计技术相结合的语域分析方法.研究阐述了多维度分析法在文本特征、语域变异、中介语研究等方面的应用,揭示了该方法在文本分析上全面、高效、客观的强大优势,弥补了传统社会语言学语言变异研究方法上的不足.同时,就多维度分析法设计上的争议之处进行了深入的剖析和探讨,并指出了多维度分析法未来发展应着眼于扩大特征提取范围,简化工具软件,增强与传统社会语言学相融合.
Multi-dimensional Analysis（MDA）is known as a new corpus-based method effective in text analysis taking advantage of computer-based statistical technology. The paper tends to give a thorough elaboration on how MDA has been applied in various linguistic researches including text features exploitation, register variation as well as interlanguage studies, hence revealing its sheer strengths of being comprehensive, efficient and objective against conventional socio-linguistic research techniques. In addition, it gives a full investigation on some disputable issues in terms of the model design, and points out that MDA could be perfected by including as comprehensive linguistic features as possible, further simplifying operational tools, and deepening integration with conventional sociolinguistics.
