摘要
本文旨在总结和评价多维度变异研究领域在近二十年中取得的成果。文章指出,一方面,多维度变异研究是语料库语言学和社会语言学交叉的产物,在方法论上促进了变异研究的发展;另一方面,多维度变异研究实现了对语言特征的综合性分析和对语言变异的多维度的描写,补充和扩大了经典社会语言学变异研究的成果。文章提出,与多种研究方法的结合,尤其是与民族志等定性研究方法的结合,是多维度变异研究发展的方向。
The purpose of this paper is to review the multi-dimensional variation studies in the recent twenty years. This article maintains that these multi-dimensional studies have greatly enhanced the sociolinguistic variation paradigm due to the integration of a corpus-based methodology and the macro and multi-dimensional perspective. It also maintains that using multiple research methods, especially the ethnographic ones, is important for multi-dimensional variation studies.
