摘要
使用中国教育追踪调查2014年数据(CEPS2014),研究"小升初"择校行为对初中生学习成绩的影响,发现家庭社会经济地位较高以及城区的学生更可能择校,然而无论是语数外单科成绩还是总成绩,学生通过择校并不能提高其学习成绩。择校加剧了优质教育机会分配的不公平,降低了教育资源的使用效率。因此,政府应采取积极措施控制择校,引导城乡不同地区和不同阶层的家长和学生理性对待择校,让更广泛阶层的子女能够享受优质的教育资源,提高教育资源的整体使用效率,加大优质教育资源的供给,促进义务教育均衡发展,降低择校需求,促进教育公平。
Based on CEPS2014, the author studies the selection of secondary school influence on students' academic achievements and finds out that families with higher socioeconomic status and urban students are more likely to select schools. However, students can not improve their academic performance by selecting schools, neither a single subject nor a total score. Selection of school increased the unfair dis- tribution of high quality education opportunities and reduced the efficiency of educational resources. There- fore, the government should take positive measures to control selection of school to guide parents and students in different areas and different classes to treat selection of school rationally. To enable children of wider classes to enjoy high quality educational resources and improve the overall use efficiency of educa- tional resources, government should increase the supply of high quality education resources and promote the balanced development of compulsory education. Also requirement for selection of school should be low- ered and educational equity should be promoted.
