摘要
在本文中,我们对现今发表的有关企业战略性使用语言的文献进行了梳理,并在此基础上对语言在企业竞争中的作用着重进行了阐述。以企业如何通过模糊语言的使用降低竞争者市场进入的可能性,以及企业如何用文字反击攻击者为例,我们希望通过这些例子凸显语言使用对企业之间竞争的重要影响。本文在最后还就未来在相关领域可能的研究方向进行了讨论。
In this article,we review the literature of how firms strategically use language in various settings. In particular,we pay attention to how firms strategically use language in a competitive context. Using the effects of vague language use on rivals’ entry likelihood and the antecedents of firms’ word responses as two examples,we hope to signify the important impact of firm language use on interfirm rivalry. We also offer several avenues for future research at the end of the paper.
