Objective To explore the clinical effect of terbutaline in treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods 90 children with mycoplasma pneumonia in our hospital were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. All children were treated with azithromycin sequential therapy, and the observation group was given terbutaline. The clinical effect, the disappearance time of clinical symptoms, the related factors of airway inflammation and the changes of lung function index were compared between the two groups, and the incidence of adverse reactions was recorded. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95. 56%,higher than 82. 22% of the control group( P〈0. 05). The fever disappearance time, cough disappearance time, lung rale disappearance time and wheezing disappearance time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group( P〈0. 05). The levels of EOS and IL-2 were lower in the observation group than in the control group, and the levels of IL-4,FEV1,PEF and FEV1/FVC were higher in the observation group than in the control group( P〈0. 05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was not statistically significant( P〉0. 05). Conclusion Terbutaline combined with azithromycin in the sequential treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumonia can reduce airway inflammation and improve lung function, which has high safety and is worthy of being popularized in clinical use.
