摘要
以大量的磷酸作为催化剂兼作反应介质合成一种新型Novolac酚醛树脂,同时以草酸作催化剂合成一种常规的Novolac酚醛树脂,通过常规性能分析、凝胶渗透色谱分析、红外光谱分析等对两种树脂进行表征与比较,结果表明新型Novolac酚醛树脂具有收率高、分子量分布集中,分子结构中酚环与亚甲基对位连接较多等特征。将两种酚醛树脂溶液分别与环氧树脂配制成浸胶液,并将浸胶液分别制作无卤覆铜板,测试了两种浸胶液的凝胶时间、覆铜板的剥离强度、玻璃化转变温度与热分解温度,经对比检测发现,新型Novolac酚醛树脂配制的浸胶液凝胶时间较低,而采用新型Novolac树脂制作的无卤覆铜板具有很好的耐高温性和力学性能。
One new Novolac phenolic resin was synthesized with a large amount of phosphoric acid as catalyst and reaction medium. As a contrast,one ordinary Novolac resin was made with oxalic acid as catalyst, then the characteristics of the two resins were compared by general performances analysis,GPC analysis and FTIR analysis. The results showed that the new Novolac resin had characteristics of high yield,concentrated distribution of molecular weight,and more para-methylene linkage with phenol ring in the structure. Dipping solution with the two resin solution and epoxy resin respectively were prepared and halogen-free copper clad laminates with the two dipping solution were made. The gel time of the two dipping solution,peel strength,glass-transition temperature and thermal decomposition temperature of the two copper clad laminates were analyzed. By comparative analysis,the results showed that dipping solution made of new Novolac resin had lower gel time, and copper clad laminates of new Novolac resin possessed better high temperature resistance and mechanical properties.
