摘要
《国宝档案》栏目蕴含着丰富的文化预设,并在跨文化交际和字幕英译中起着举足轻重的作用。译者在对文化预设的处理上可以从意义着手,结合字幕本身的局限性,采取灵活多样的翻译策略,对文化预设采取保留、迁移或消解等方式,将《国宝档案》中大量的中国传统文化信息点,准确到位地传递出来。
NctiNational Treasure Archive is a TV program on CCTV-4 introducing Chinese national treasures, which contains rich cultural presuppositions.These cultural presuppositions play an important role in cross-cultural communication and E-C subtitle translation. To deal with the cultural presuppositions, the translators can adopt various flexible translation techniques considering the limitation of subtitle, using methods such as transliteration, foreignization or jfree translation together with annotation, etc., so as to translate the program subtitles with large numbers of Chinese cultural elements correctly and pertinently into English.
