Despite of their superficial irrelevance, religious typology and political cartography co-construct the power imagination of England,a fundamental theme of the age in the War of Hundred Years. Via the concept of divine royal power in The Numbers, passionate speech in Agincourt, and heroic behavior,Shakespeare deducts meaningful metaphors of religious spaces, such as divine heritage, word of God and holy war, etc.,which are deeply rooted in long-standing tradition of western cartography. These images also initiate a magnificent monarchy iconography and an imperial typology and ultimately round off a paradoxical identity of France with the assistance of humanism in early modern Europe.
