摘要
科研竞争力是提高民办本科高校综合办学水平的重要因素之一。民办本科高校的科研水平虽然在整体上与公办高校尚有较大差距,但进步及后发优势明显。一些民办本科高校的科研工作已实现较大突破,在某些学科和研究领域具有鲜明优势,构成了我国民办高校科研竞争力的第一方阵。民办高校须高度重视科研工作,扭转应用型高校不需要科研的片面认识,从理念、制度等层面切实加强对科研工作的引导,加大科研经费的投入,制定更加富有激励性的科研政策,鼓励和引导教师积极投入科研工作。
Scientific research competence is one of the important factors to improve the comprehensive running of non-governmental regular universities. Although there is a big gap between the research of non-governmental regular universities and independent colleges,and those public universities,the research of non-governmental regular universities and independent colleges has made remarkable progress with noticeable latecomer advantages. Some have achieved greater scientific breakthroughs in certain disciplines and formed distinct advantages in some research areas. The first tier of non-governmental institutions of higher learning in our country has gradually formed. Non-governmental institutions of higher learning need attach great importance to scientific research,overcome the biased belief of application-oriented colleges not requiring scientific research,strengthen the guidance of scientific research from the concept and system level,increase investment in research funding,develop more stimulating research policy,and encourage and guide teachers to actively involve in scientific research.
