Fluctuating asymmetry of digit length in patients with gastric cancer

摘要 分析宁夏汉族男性胃癌患者指长波动性不对称(FA)。采用体质测量法,比较分析宁夏汉族男性186例(对照组93例,胃癌患者组93例)指长FA(2FA、3FA、4FA、5FA)及复合FA(CFA)的均值及其差异性,分析指长FA与年龄、肿瘤大小、淋巴结转移程度及转移距离间的关系。宁夏汉族男性胃癌患者组各指长FA均值均高于对照组,2FA、3FA、4FA有显著性差异;胃癌患者组4FA在左右手差值(|L-R|)≥0.04 mm组显著增高;胃癌患者组4FA均值与年龄、肿瘤大小、淋巴结转移程度及转移距离无相关性。指长FA水平与宁夏汉族男性胃癌有关,4FA可能是胃癌早期筛查的间接指标之一。 To study the fluctuating asymmetry (FA) of digit length in male patients with gastric cancer of Ningxia Han nationality. Method: Using anthropometry, the mean values and differences of FA (2FA, 3FA, 4FA, 5FA) and composite FA (CFA) of 186 individuals (control: 93~ gastric cancer: 93) were compared. The relationship between FA of digit length and age, tumor size (T), lymph node involvement (N) and distant metastases (M) of control group and gastric cancer group was analyzed. Results: The results showed that the mean values of each FA were higher in cancer group than those in the control group and significant differences were found in 2FA, 3FA and 4FA. In |L-R| ≥0. 04 mm of 4FA, there was a significant difference between two groups. No relationships were found between 4FA and age, T, N, M in cancer cases. Conclusion: FA of digit length is correlated with gastric cancer in males. 4FA may be one of the indirect indexes for early screening of gastric cancer.
