Objective: : To investigate the correlation between fracture type and infraorbital nerve injury in patients with zygomatic maxillary complex fracture. Methods: Fifty patients with zygomatic maxillary complex fractures admitted from January 2015 to December 2017 in our hospital were divided into three groups according to Zingg criteria: group A, B and C, and the infraorbital nerve injury Of pain and two points of discrimination, the use of asymmetry index (AI) of the inferior orbital nerve injury were evaluated and compared. Re- suits : There was significant difference in the pain sensation between different types of patients with suborbital ipsilateral skin pain. The AI of pain sensation was type A 〈 type C 〈 type B ( P 〈 0.05 ). The AI of type B fractures was significantly higher than type A and type C ( P 〈 0.05 ). In the two - point discrimination, the AI value of type A was significantly lower than that of type A ( P 〈 O. 05 ), but no sig- nificant difference was found between type B and C ( P 〉 0.05 ). Conclusion: The type of zygomatic and maxillary complex fractures is related to the degree of infraorbital nerve injury. The type B zygomatic and maxillary complex has the most severe infraorbital nerve injury, while the type A fractures are less damaged. In the clinical treatment of patients, Sexual selection of surgical options to improve clinical outcomes.
