十八大以来习近平总书记关于老龄工作重要论述和十九大报告相关论述相得益彰,共同构成中国共产党积极应对人口老龄化挑战的基本战略思想,描画出人类应对人口老龄化挑战和建设理想老龄社会的中国智慧、中国方案和中国道路,是习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想和基本方略的有机组成部分。看点一:过去五年老龄工作高歌猛进老龄事业取得重大成就。看点二:防范未来重大风险做好及时科学综合应对人口老龄化的战略准备。看点三:以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导正确把握应对人口老龄化和老龄社会的理论脉络。看点四:把老龄工作纳入中国特色社会主义"五位一体"整体布局和"四个全面"战略布局。看点五:实施新理念引领下的人口发展战略。看点六:发掘机遇活力培育发展老龄经济。看点七:坚守中华文化立场推进老龄文化建设。看点八:以人民为中心着力发展公民老年期社会事业。看点九:坚持党对老龄工作的统一领导。看点十:全球老龄社会条件下人类命运共同体的理想预示着中国特色社会主义前景无限美好。
General Secretary XI Jinping has given important speeches on the work of aging since the 18th National Congress; there are also relevant descriptions in the report delivered at the 19th National Congress. The two complement each other and together form China＇s basic strategy to cope with challenges caused by population aging. It shows China＇s wisdom to choose its own approach and path to tackle with the issue and build an ideal aging society. It is also an integral part of XI Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the basic policy. Ten points catch our eyes. First, the past five years saw great strides made in the work of aging and aging-related undertakings. Second, to fend off possible risks, we should have a strategic planning for timely responding to population aging in a scientific and comprehensively way. Third, we should properlygrasp the logic behind population aging and the aging society under the guidance of XI Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Fourth, we should incorporate the work of aging into the five-sphere integrated plan and the four-pronged comprehensive strategy. Fifth, we should have a new population growth strategy guided by new concepts. Six, we should explore opportunities to foster the economy of aging. Seventh, we should stick to China＇s traditional culture and promote the development of old age culture. Eighth, people-oriented social undertakings should be developed for all people＇s old age. Ninth, the work of aging should be developed under the unified leadership of the Central Committee. Tenth, building a community with a shared future for mankind in an aging society means a glorious tuture for socialism with Chinese characteristics.
