摘要
近年来,外教的教学效果问题受到学界关注。本研究通过平衡组教学实验,探讨中外教师合作教学对高职外教英语口语教学效果的影响。结果表明:1)与外教独自教学相比,中外教师合作教学更能提高高职学生的英语口语水平,即它对高职外教英语口语教学效果有积极影响;2)与外教单独教学相比,中外教师合作教学更能提高高职学生英语口语的语法复杂度和语法准确性,但对其流利度,连贯性和词汇复杂度的影响不显著;3)不能证实中外教师合作教学对差生的英语口语水平提升更有效,即其对高职外教英语口语教学效果影响的程度不会因学生英语口语水平而变。因此,高职院校可借鉴本研究结果,运用中外教师合作来提升外教的教学效果。
Recently, the effect of foreign teachers' instruction has attracted much attention. This study, through comparison experiment, aims to explore the effects of cooperative teaching between foreign and Chinese teachers in foreign teachers' oral English classes for vocational college students. The results are presented as follows:(1) Compared to independent foreign teachers' instruction, cooperative teaching can better improve vocational college students' oral English proficiency;(2) Compared to independent foreign teachers' instruction, cooperative teaching can better improve grammar complexity and accuracy of students' oral English, but has no obvious influence on fluency, coherence, or lexical complexity;(3) There is no evidence that cooperative teaching has better efficiency on poor students' oral English level. The results can effectively guide cooperative teaching of oral English in vocational colleges.
