"幽灵之旅"作为一种曾经流行的早期电影类型,其独特的影片形态和观看体验,不仅使它成为"海尔之旅"这样特殊放映形式的主要内容来源,也使它在叙事电影成为主流之后,仍然以各种形态存在于叙事电影及实验电影实践之中。"幽灵之旅"的出现反映了19世纪末20世纪初视觉文化在电影发明之后的明显转变,通过对其的深入探究,有助于理解新媒介对人类感官和理念的冲击与改造。
As a once prevelant film genre of early cinema, ＂phantom ride＂ has its own unique form and experience, which not only made it become the dominant genre of screening in special theatre like ＂Hale＇s Tour＂, but also persists throughout film history, both in mainstream or experimental cinema practice. A study in phantom ride can provide a closer look into the transformation of visual culture after the advent of cinema, as well as the change of human perception in the face of new media.
