摘要
北魏元祉墓志于2012年6月在洛阳市定鼎北路西侧、苗南村东南出土。墓志记述了元祉的生平事迹和北魏末年一系列政治事件。元祉,正史虽无传,但墓志对其生平事迹记述颇为详尽,无疑是我们研究这一时期社会历史的重要资料,弥补文献记载的阙如。元祉墓志的出土也对我们研究北魏皇室葬制、当时的社会状况以及元祉在历史上的贡献有一定的价值。
The epitaph tablet of Yuan Zun of the Northern Wei dynasty was uncovered in June 2012 to the west of Dingding Road and south-east of Miaonan Village in Luoyang. The epitaph records the life and career of Yuanzhi, who had no biography in offical records, and a series of political events during the last years of the Northern Wei dynasty. Therefore, the epitaph tablet provides valuable information for the study of the royal mortuary institutions, the society and Yuan Zhi＇s contribution to history.
