摘要
源于读书俱乐部和读者社区的美国高校"新生共同阅读计划",是美国继"一城一书"后新式的阅读推广活动。该计划倡导所有学校成员,尤其是一年级新生,通过共读一本书,促进学生"共同意识"的形成,提升他们的学术能力以及精神生活。文章对"新生共同阅读计划"的实施流程、活动目的、开展方式、特点等进行了分析与经验总结,并简述了我国高校实施共读项目的情况,及其在我国的发展趋势。
Originating from reading clubs and reading communities, ＂Freshman Common Reading Program＂ of American colleges and universities is a new reading promotion project after the emergence of ＂One City One Book＂. The program aims to foster the participa- tion and identification of the students and staff, especially of the freshmen and help them develop their academic skills and spiritual life by reading the same book. The paper analyzes and summarizes how ＂common reading program＂ works in both America and China from different aspects including its backgrounds, goals, implementations and features.
