摘要
商务英语数字的拟定与翻译是商务沟通的重点与难点,商务英语数字的误译是困扰中小企业的普遍问题。英语和汉语对商务数字的书写和记录方式差异巨大,正确处理商务英语数字的翻译,需要从数字的实指义与虚指义入手,通过保留数字直译、变动数字改译和舍弃数字意译的翻译方法,正确处理确量、约量、超出量、低于量、多量、少量、增量和减量、百分比增和百分比减的商务数字问题。
The correct translation of figures is the key point and difficulty of business communication, the mistranslation of figures in business English is the common problem which is troubling small and medium-sized enterprises. There are big differences in business figure writing and record method between English and Chinese. To correctly handle the translation of figures in business English, it is necessary to start with the number＇s explicit meaning and implicit meaning. By translation methods of free translation, literal translation and changing numbers, to correctly solve the business figure problems of clear number, approximate quantity, overshoot, underweight, more, less, increment, decrement, percentage increase and decrease.
