Research on TCP Performance Optimization Based on the Heterogeneous Network

摘要 当前应用于异构网络环境中垂直切换下的TCP性能急需提高,基于网络负载估测模型对TCP友好性拥塞控制进行了改进,建立了改进的Switch-TCP算法。采用快速、慢速网络拓扑的异构形式进行对比实验,得出:在相同通信量的情况下,改进的Switch-TCP流发生的拥塞要明显少于Reno流,改进模型不仅能够提高网络可用资源的利用率,而且还能有效的控制了拥塞窗口的变化,减少拥塞的发生次数;改进的Switch-TCP发送端能够使不必要的重传有效的减少,从而有效地降低发送端的能量消耗;在快速切换态时,Switch-TCP达到网络最佳利用率的时间比TCP Reno大约早了4 s。 In the application of heterogeneous network environment,it urgently needs to improve TCP performance under vertical switch.,Based on the network load estimation model of TCP the friendly congestion control is improved,and an improved Switch-TCP algorithm is established. By contrast experiments with fast and slow network topologies of heterogeneous forms,it can be concluded that under the same traffic conditions,the Switch-TCP flow improves congestion such that it is less than that of Reno flow. The improved model not only can improve the utilization rate of network resources available,but also can effectively control the change of the congestion window,reduce congestion occurrences. The improved Switch-TCP sender can reduce unnecessary retransmission effective,so it effectively reduces the energy consumption. In the rapid switching state,the utilization ratio of Switch-TCP is faster than that of TCP Reno about 4 seconds.
