摘要
针对复杂电子系统中FPGA数量众多和特殊结构等因素导致FPGA调试困难的实际情况,给出了一种基于CAN和RS422总线的FPGA远程调试与配置设计方法。利用CAN总线组网节点多的特点组建远程控制网络,利用RS422总线可实现同步数据通信的特点组建FPGA调试与配置网络,通过简单的电路设计并配合微控制器,即可直接利用FPGA厂商提供的调试工具和配置软件对设备中多个FPGA进行远程调试与配置。应用结果表明,该方法可有效解决特殊场景中FPGA调试不便的问题,使得FPGA调试与配置更加方便、快捷,极大提高了产品的研制效率。
Complex electronic system usually has a large number of FPGAs and a special structure. This results in difficulties indebugging. A design method for FPGA remote debugging and configuration based on CAN bus and RS422 bus is presented in this paper. The remote control network is built based on CAN bus due to its networking capability. The debugging and configuration network is built by RS422 bus which can perform synchronous communication. Combined with a simply designed circuit and operations of microcontroller,debugging tools and configuration software offered by FPGA manufacturer can be used to debug and configure FPGA chips directly. The results show that,the proposed method can effectively resolve the FPGA debugging and configuration problem in special condition. The design facilitates the debugging and configuration of FPGA and greatly improves the efficiency of the system development.
