摘要
本研究以67名非外语专业本科生为研究对象,采用问卷调查的方式,探讨外语交际焦虑和语用、语法意识的相关性。结果显示:外语交际焦虑与语用意识呈正相关,与语法意识呈负相关;害怕否定性评价与语用意识呈负相关,与语法意识呈正相关,其中说外语时担心说错与语法意识呈极其显著正相关;缺乏模糊容忍度、自我概念不良和自信心不足分别与语用、语法意识均呈正相关与负相关,其中对上下文猜出的词义不放心以及读较长文章感到紧张和怀疑自我与语用意识显著正相关。
A study is made in this paper to explore the correlation between foreign language communicative anxiety and pragmatic and grammatical awareness by means of questionnaires. The subjects for the study were 67 non-English major students. Results show that foreign language communicative anxiety is positively correlated with pragmatic awareness but negatively correlated with grammatical awareness. It is also found that fear of negative evaluation is negatively correlated with pragmatic awareness but positively correlated with grammatical awareness, and the positive correlation between grammatical awareness and worrying about making mistakes when English is spoken has reached the extremely significant level. Moreover, lack of ambiguous tolerance and low self-confidence has positive and negative correlation with pragmatic and grammatical awareness respectively, and there exists remarkably positive correlation between the students' anxiety for guessing the meaning of the new words from the context and tension while reading long articles
