摘要
本文所指的民族是一个从对原初氏族、部落客观存在的所指,逐渐演变、延伸到艺术、信仰的精神所指的文化命题,它含有从现实的世界向想象的世界不断纵向移动的思想理念。民族的意旨经过不同历史时代的演变,最终汇入到国家、社会和政治文化的谱系中。如今,电影中的民族、民族性以及民族主义已经引申、应强调、应力倡三种意义相互关联的递进式的集合概念内涵:民族已经引申出从现实的共同体到想象的共同体演变的意涵;民族性应强调其子民因由其民族性格而转化为民族英雄后所彰显出的民族个性;民族主义应力倡对民族的热爱到对民族国的认同。
Nationality in this paper is a cultural proposition which evolved from the signified of the objective existence of primitive clans and tribes to a spiritual signified of arts and belief. Therefore,nationality concerns an idea that continuouslymoves longitudinally from real world to the imagined world. The intensions of nationality,after an evolution through many periods of times,finally converged into spectrums of nation,society and political culture. Nowadays,as nationality,ethnicity and nationalism in films have been extended,it is necessary to emphasize and promote a progressive integrated concept connotation concerning three interacted meanings as following. Nationality has been extended from a real community to an imagined community. Ethnicity should be emphasized on the ethnic characteristic meaning which is manifested as a result of an evolution from the people’s ethnic characters to the nationalheroes. Nationalism should promote a transformation from a devotion to nationality to an identification with the nation.
