The intersection between biomarkers and the exposome in environmental health studies

摘要 本文系统评述了生物标志物和暴露组学的定义及其在环境与健康研究中应用的重要性。分别从四个方面介绍了生物标志物与暴露组,生命阶段暴露组映像,基于标志物的全暴露组关联研究和以生物标志物为中介、阐释暴露与疾病的关系。并对今后需要重点加强的研究方向给予系统介绍,包括生物标志物应用的有效性、标志物的器官特异性验证和多层次组学标志物之间关联分析的生物信息技术。 This editorial introduced the definition of biomarkers and exposome,as well as their implication in environmental health studies. Four topics were introduced that include biomarkers and exposome,lifestage exposome snapshots,exposome wide association studies,and the role of biomarkers in studying the relationship between environmental exposures and diseases. Emphases of studies were suggested that include validity assessment of biomarkers,organ specificity of biomarkers,and bioinformatics for analyzing multi-level omics data.
