摘要
英语是全球运用范围最广泛的语言,我国的英语教育已经取得了良好效果,在教育宽度和深度上都可以达到文化、经济交流的要求。但在高职院校教育过程中仍然存在一些问题,对英美文化的忽视不仅导致学生理解部分特殊语境内容存在困难,还会导致教学内容脱离文化学习的本质。因此,在英语教育中,高职院校需要采取一些措施将英美文化融入教学活动中,并结合我国的文化进行解读和重构。本文首先总结了高职院校英美文化教育现状,进而结合社会需求和学生的文化精神需求,分析了英美文化教育的重要意义,最后提出了在英语教学中融入英美文化的措施,旨在提高我国英语教学的现实意义。
English is the most widely used language worldwide. The English education in our country has already achieved great progress and reached the needs for both cultural and economical communication from the depth and width of education. However, there still exists several problems during the teaching process at higher vocational colleges. The absence of British and American culture causes not only the difficulty in students understanding parts of special context content, but also the teaching content out of the nature of cultural study. Therefore, during the English teaching, the higher vocational college should take some measures to integrate the Brit- ish and American culture into the teaching activities, and combining our cultural to interpret and reconstruct. This article firstly sum- marizes the current situation in British and American cultural education at high vocational colleges, and then combines the demands for the society and student＇ s cultural spirit, analyzes the significance of the British and American cultural education and finally puts forward some measures to integrate the British and American culture into English teaching, aiming at improving our country＇ s English education.
