摘要
实现学术出版国际化是包括高校学报在内的我国众多学术出版人的目标和梦想。中国高校学报与高校之间关系紧密,在为高校师生提供学术交流平台的同时,享受着高校丰富的资源和诸多便利。对国内40家英文版高校学报的调查显示:有关学报均拥有国际刊号;半数以上学报聘用海外及港澳台编委并刊登海外及港澳台作者论文;绝大多数学报通过增强与国际知名出版公司合作"借船出海"走出去;所有接受调查的学报均在互联网上建立国际化的数字投稿平台,以提升国际知名度和竞争力。从调研结果看,中国英文版高校学报的英语语言质量堪忧,很可能造成海外读者的理解障碍而影响其国际传播的效度。
To be internationalized is the goal and dream of many Chinese academic publishers, including aca- demic journals published by universities and colleges. Based on the close ties with universities and colleges, the academic journals run by China＇ s higher educational institutions enjoy profound resources and conveniences while providing academic exchange platforms for college faculty and students. A survey of 40 English aforementioned journals shows that they all have international serial numbers; more than half of them employ overseas editors and publish papers written by overseas authors; most of them go international through cooperation with well-known international publishing companies; all the inspected journals have set up inter- national digital submission platform on the Internet to enhance their international visibility and competitiveness. The survey also indicates that the poor quality of English language in the these journals may lead to barrier of understanding for overseas readers, and impair the validity of the journals＇ international communication.
