摘要
民族自治是当代世界各国普遍采用的民族事务治理形式之一。历史上,自治的雏形以多种形式出现,其历史可谓久远。近代以来,民族自治又不断发展。由于各国国情不同,民族自治逐渐发展出了多种多样的民族自治形式。通过对纷繁复杂的自治制度进行归类和整理,初步得出结论:自治已经成为越来越多的国家治理民族问题的重要方式,只是表现形式有所差别而已;它作为一种包容性的民族治理制度,已经成为国际共识。
Ethnic autonomy is one of the governance forms commonly adopted for ethnic affairs in con-temporary countries. The rudiments of autonomy have presented in various forms and can be dated back to ancient time. In the modern times？ethnic autonomy has been gradually evolving to a variety of forms due to different national conditions. Through classifying and analyzing the complex systems of autonomy, this arti-cle has made a preliminary conclusion that autonomy has become an important way for increasing countries to deal with ethnic affairs. Except for difference in forms？ethnic autonomy has become a wide international consensus as an inclusive governance system.
