摘要
准确理解学生对公共英语教学的教学资源及教学方式的需求是有效开展教学的前提与基础。编制《农科研究生公共英语教学需求调查问卷》,对中国农业科学院研究生院2014级全体硕士生进行调查分析。结果显示,农科研究生对教学内容需求呈现多样化与学科化特点,对教学形式的需求呈现互动化、多元化、多模态等新趋势。面对新形势下公共英语教学的机遇与挑战,公共英语教师应该充分发挥语言专长,实现英语+专业学科的跨越式发展。
To form a precise understanding of the needs for instructional content and methods in general English teaching is the precondition and basis to effective teaching. The Questionnaire of Instructional Needs for General English for Agricultural Graduate Students was compiled and conducted with all 2014-Grader master students from Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Survey results showed that agricultural graduate students' needs for instructional content were characterized by diversity and disciplinization,and needs for instructional methods tend to be interactive,multi-participants and multimodal. Faced with opportunities and challenges of general English for agricultural graduate students in the new trends,teachers should maximize their strength in language and realize the leapfrog development of English + disciplines.
