摘要
国际化是我国企业普遍面临的战略选择。企业在谋求国际市场机会的同时,也承担了进入国际市场的风险和成本,因此学界对于国际化和企业绩效的关系没有得到一致的结论。基于此,文章认为企业国际社会网络对国际化与企业绩效的关系具有调节作用。文章采用中国制造业上市公司数据,发现我国企业国际化不利于绩效提升,但是国际社会网络能够减少企业国际化对于绩效的不利影响,而且国际社会网络的调节作用在动态的市场环境下更加显著。
Internationalization is becoming a common strategy for Chinese firms. However, firms have to undertake the risk and cost of en-tering the international market while seeking international market opportunities. Therefore, the consensus on the relationship between theinternationalization and the corporate performance has not been reached in academic circles. This paper argues that, the relationship be-tween the internationalization and the corporate performance is moderated by the corporate international social network. Based on the dataof Chinese listed manufacturing companies, the paper finds that the internationalization of Chinese firms has a negative effect on perfor-mance improvement. However, the international social network can reduce the negative impact of the internationalization on the corporateperformance. Furthermore, the moderating effect of the international social network appears more significant in a dynamic market environ-ment.
